GrocerKey's all-in-one .NET codebase delivering shopper APIs, store/staff APIs, cron jobs, queue processors, and shared data/domain libraries powering everything from the consumer web app to internal ops tooling.

My Role

Owned and extended the central .NET monolith powering shopper APIs, store APIs, cron jobs, and queue processors. Applied CQRS and feature flags across hundreds of endpoints and flows. Maintained shared domain libraries for consistent business logic and DAL. Improved observability with request filters, logging helpers, and rate-limiting.

Core Capabilities

• CQRS-by-default: controllers delegate to command/query dispatchers
• Multi-environment readiness with appsettings, Terraform, and deployment specs
• Cross-service DI registering repositories, feature-flag clients, and event publishers
• RabbitMQ queue processors for background jobs and Elasticsearch sync
• Custom filters, logging helpers, and rate-limit configs for resilience

Architecture

• ASP.NET Core with SimpleInjector-based dependency wiring
• CQRS pattern with FluentValidation and performance tracking
• Shared libraries centralizing DAL, domain services, and framework utilities
• Cron suite and queue processors as separate hosted services
